Dr Barry McColl and Dr Rhein Parry have organised the Gatsby Foundation Introductory Course on Glial Cells the day prior to the main FENS meeting in Glasgow in July. The course is aimed at the non-specialist so will be accessible to all. Giles Hardingham and Josef Priller feature in the programme which will cover basic and emerging biology of astrocytes, microglia, oligodendrocytes and their functional interactions in the BBB and neurovascular coupling.
