Congratulations to all! Matt Nolan and Ian Duguid from CDBS, and Istvan Gyongy, Strinjoy Mitra and Robert Henderson from the Institute for Micro and Nano Systems in the School of Engineering, have been awarded a Technology Development Grant from the Wellcome Trust. The project aims to build miniature microscopes that acquire images at up to 10,000 frames per second. These microscopes will give unprecedented access in freely moving animals to neural activity underlying fundamental brain functions and pathological brain states.
