Brianna Vandrey and Matt Nolan have received a 3 year project grant from the BBSRC to investigate how neural representations of objects are integrated with representation of place. Current theories of memory and spatial cognition assume that object and place representations are processed in parallel. This project will investigate recently discovered neural pathways through which object processing brain areas can influence brain circuits for representation of place. Publication date 22 Mar, 2021
