Sept 2016: Great success for our third annual Deanery Symposium Image For the third time, researchers of all 4 Centres (CCNS, CIP, CNR, DIPM) within our Deanery presented their work in a jointly organised Symposium at Little France. This year our postdoctoral researchers, independent fellows and new appointees showed their latest findings to a broad audience of PIs, postdocs and PhD students. A wide range of topics from disease related research on degeneration and muscle wasting, immune response and viral infection to signalling mechanisms crucial for neuronal health inspired the audience for further discussion and ideas. An exciting event that highlighted once again the brilliant work conducted within our Deanery. The Deanery Symposium was an excellent showcase for the breadth and quality of research carried out in our Centres. It was a great opportunity to hear about the work carried out by our early-career researchers, several of whom have secured independent fellowships to pursue their research interests.
