Four Biomedical Sciences undergraduates published their first paper this week!

In their paper Yilan Shen, Sunna Haidar, Mihail Nikolaev & Denis Beqja describe the use of a transgenic tarantula toxin as a novel tool to study mechanosensitive ion channels in Drosophila. The work was carried out as part of a summer internship in the Denholm lab and was funded by a BMTO Summer Research Scholarship and a WR Henderson Scholarship.
