The CALM and IMPACT imaging facilities will be hosting the annual BioImaging UK Facility Manager Meeting in the CIP on the 6th and 7th January 2011. Background BioImagingUK is an organisation of UK scientists that use, administer and develop imaging technology for life sciences research. The annual Facility Manager Meeting provides a platform to discuss strategies and activities of BioImagingUK and is open to all interested research and support staff. The programme includes general discussions and updates as well as focus groups working on high-priority topics. The format is very informal to allow free and open discussions. Delegates from system manufacturers and developers are also invited and this provides a versatile interface between industry and academia involved in the implementation of imaging technology.
