ESRIC Symposium and Minischool 21st and 22nd November

ESRIC will be holding a mini symposium at the IGC on the afternoon of 21st of November. This promotes interdisciplinary research in super-resolution optical imaging and its application to biomedical science. With speakers working in biochemistry, biophysics and the clinical sciences, this event highlights the ability of super-resolution imaging to bring together researchers from across a vast range of disciplines.

Keynote Speaker: Edward Lemke IMB Mainz

The symposium will be followed by a 1 day mini school for a limited number of participants. The Mini-school will include four hands-on workshops to give participants a thorough grounding in key super-resolution techniques.

Scottish Microscopy Society (SMS) Annual Symposium

Scottish Microscopy Society (SMS) Annual Symposium

This is a 1-day conference with great opportunities for post-docs and students (and others!) to present in a friendly environment. There will be talks, posters, workshops and a trade exhibition. SMS will be running an Image Competition in advance of the Symposium and presenting their annual award to the Scottish Microscopist of the Year.

Frontiers in Bioimaging 2024

Frontiers in Bioimaging 2024 will focus on the latest developments in optical and electron microscopy as well as image analysis. Sessions will cover novel technical developments and applications of these microscopy-based approaches to key cell and molecular biology questions with an overarching aim to bring insights on how they participate in our understanding of human health and disease.
